    Pat White signs with KC

Per ESPN, Pat White signs a minor league deal with the Royals. He's a great athlete and was highly thought of before he went to WVU as a football player, would be nice to see him pan out.

I never knew that Pat White could sing. He is a real triple threat.

You might want to change your post. I got banned for 'masked profanity' when I used three letters (one of which was 'f'). I'm just trying to help.

Was going to add a Sunshine Band joke but I'm just glad he's gone from WV.

I thought since we drafted him last that we held his rights for a certain amount of years

Am I wrong in thinking that?

Interesting, didn't even think of him going back to baseball. So he's going the opposite route that Drew Henson did. Hopefully for his sake he has better results

Yes you are wrong and we drafted him in 2008. The Yankees drafted him in 2009.

Not being serious, but just a commentary on how he passed up the Yankees and Reds, didnt cut it in football, and ended up with the Royals.

I figured as much. But if he ends up doing reasonably well with his baseball career, then he probably would have been better served starting his baseball career earlier.

Starting his career with the Royals 2 years later is probably better than being in the Yankees or the Reds farm system right now also honestly.
