Ah, thought it had to be an injury since he left yesterday's game.

Bats lose 4-2. The 2010 Reds minor leage season is over - on to the AFL.

Who'd of thunk that ex-REDS Bobby Livingston, who's struggled all year, would do enough to win the final game against Louisville (er, Carolina)?

Welp figures. Bats can't ever seem to beat Durham in playoffs. Oh well, the big prize is way more important.

My wife and I attended the finale tonight. Absolutely beautiful day for a baseball game. Obviously it was a tough way for the season to end but we enjoyed seeing the guys play one more time. We had the same seats we had for the first game...first row behind the Bats dugout, dead center. In fact, (this is when you know you have arrived) I sat my 24 oz. PBR can on the dugout while watching the game.

The Frazier error was big but how can you get on the kid, he was one of the reasons the Bats were still in it. Klinker tossed his Bat's hat up on the dugout to a guy wearing a Mudcats hat as he headed in for the night, nice gesture. The guy that got the hat was at the game Friday night as well, he was thrilled. There were several Mudcat hats in the crowd, mine included.

Lots of things to say about the game but I'll just say I'm going to be lost without the Reds minor league teams now.

Disappointing way to end the season. But with the way the season started, and went until July, it is a miracle that the Bats had a game 1 in the playoffs, let alone a game 5. The second half was amazing, and had a number of incredible moments - this is a season that the Bats should be proud of.
