Gomes has no replacement, so it is what it is at this stage. Hopes he hits a slugger's hot streak right about playoff time.

Hopefully Edmonds is back in time for the playoffs. I'd much rather have him in LF than Gomes at this point.

I hope they give Rolen back to back off days....

    He needs some time.

Rolen is D2D with stiffness in back/neck from 2nd AB last night.

I'd rather listen to Kelch read the phone book than suffer through Thom Brennaman's attempt to make every instance on the field the most important event since the discovery of manned space flight. -westofyou

Reds have shown no inclination to play Edmonds in LF.

They said he would play RF, CF, or First Base. That's how they used him while he was active.

Wouldn't count on Edmonds replacing Gomes at all.

Nix, on the other hand, is viewed by the team as a potential LF. If Nix came back, you would see Gomes sit here and there.

Cisco will start @ 3B tomorrow, per Dusty.

Also, per Dusty, Bloomquist has been "good against lefties in his career" and that's why he's in there tonight.

Bruce is fine, but will rest again Friday against Wandy Rodriguez, due to him being a lefty, and Bruce's exceptionally poor 1-17 performance against him.

Chat is open. Tonight, our goal is to have more attendance than the ballpark.

I never thought I'd hear "Homer Bailey" and "exceptional control" in the same sentence

Okay, this is starting to worry me a bit. Homer's sitting about 5 mph below his norm. Something's wrong.
