    From the 9/13/10 Lousiville Courier:

The most successful manager in Louisville Bats history isn't certain if he'll be asked back.
Rick Sweet said Monday he would like to return but has yet to hear from the Bats' major league affiliate, the Cincinnati Reds. Sweet's sixth year with the Bats concluded when they were eliminated in the first round of the International League playoffs on Sunday by Durham.
“Last year they didn't tell me until the last minute,” the 58-year-old said. “That's where we're at again this year. I just don't know. I have not been told anything. … I love Louisville. The Reds have been very good to me. Absolutely I want to come back.”

    After 4, Reds 2, Brewers 1.

Capuano at 67 pitches, 42 strikes.
Bailey at 73 pitches, 43 strikes.

Maybe he is the backup plan in case Dusty doesn't re-sign? But if that is true, wouldn't you want the guy contracted for 2011?

That could be the case, but yea, you'd think they would want him locked down in some way.

Hanigan walks on 4 pitches, he could smell Capuano's fear again
