Notice Edmonds talking to Stubbs in the dugout. Credit that guy for Stubbs' and Bruce's turnaround...?

West is terrible. Strike one to Heisey was identical to two of the 'balls' to Hannigan.

I wouldn't mind seeing Edmonds in The Reds organization as a coach in some capacity after his playing days.

And I wouldn't be surprised if Walt feels the same way.

And that is EXACTLY why I hate West. I can deal with a big zone or a small zone or a strange zone even...but keep it consistent. That's all I ask. And he NEVER does.

Heisey and Stubbs have exchanged fortunes this last part of the season. Drew at .250 and Heisey at .246 and dropping. The carriage must have turned into a pumpkin for Chris.

Anybody know why Jay didn't start? Simply due to a lefty on the bump?

Gomez shoots one that Votto makes a nice stop on, but Gomez beats Votto to first. Base hit

Totally on Homer there. Bonehead play. He'll get an earful in the dugout I'd think.

That and he's still not 100%, and Dusty is trying to give him periodic days off.

Dusty said that Jay wasn't 100% and "there was a lefty on the mound." Old habits die hard with the Dust. Righties always hit better against leftysd. He should have looked at the statistics. Of course, maybe Jay is hurting, but I might have played someone else besides Heisey with the slump he's in.
