    Love the lineup.

Good day to give Stubbs a break.
This is the time. The real Reds organization is back.

I also love the line-up, and the notion of giving Stubbs a day off.

Edmonds' numbers against Bush are just plain sick. 6 for 13, 3 HRs, 11 RBIs

Glad to see Gomes batting 7th....hopefully help his anxiety a bit.

I've felt for some time now that a move down in the lineup would do Gomes some good.I'm surprised it has taken Dusty this long considering his willingness to do it with other guys.Moves like this have helped get some guys going better this year so hopefully that continues.Gomes has been better lately though.

Votto got scratched with a sinus infection, Heisey moves to CF and Edmonds to 1B.

    Not sure on the order.

Wouldn't mind seeing Alonso get the start at 1B and leave Edmonds in CF once Votto got scratched.

    1. Is Heisey hitting after Hernandez mainly because Hernandez is a better hitter?

    2. Is Hernandez hitting after Gomes mainly because Gomes is a better hitter?

    3. Is Gomes hitting after Edmonds mainly because Edmonds is a better hitter?

If the answer to question 3 is "yes," then Edmonds should be playing ahead of Gomes for the bulk of remainder of the season/playoffs in LF.
