Well if he's healthy, leave him on the roster & let him hit. If he gets hurt, then you replace him

Edinson grounds out to third. But the Reds strike first. 2-0 Redlegs.

Can alterations to the postseason roster be made between series? For example, theoretically could Nix be on the roster for the NLDS with Edmonds restored for the NLCS?

But once you name your roster for the NLDS, that's it. You can't switch until you make the NLCS. (I think).

Even if someone gets hurt during the NLDS?

Yes, but if he gets hurt in game 2 of the NLDS, you play short handed. Can't take the rrisk of a valuable roster spot, IMHO.

That's surprising. Cairo at first. Why not Yonder...it's his ONE position.

I actually am OK with this. Cairo is going to be on the postseason roster and should get some work these last 10-12 games to stay fresh. Much as I like Alonso, the chances are much better that Cairo will figure in the playoff games.

This is Edinson's first start I've seen him since he came back into the rotation. His mechanics look softer

McGee grounds out to short. If it's pronounced McGee....I'm spelling it McGee.

Fair point. Doubtful Yonder would be on the playoff roster.
