I had a feeling this was coming, hopefully Joey's back in force in San Diego on Friday.

I would send Joey back to Cincy and not even have him travel to San Diego.

    What's wrong with Joey?

    Oh, bummer.

No reason to play him if he's not 100% though. He's already achieved every major statistical accolade so they might as well see what Yonder's got.

The above is a perfect example of a kneejerk reaction. Votto is better.

Baker had been wanting to get him some rest the last few days. It will be nice to see what Alonso can do.
If you have a losing record at Reds games, please stop going.

Off by a few days of having Bailey, Bruce, Stubbs, & Alonso in the same lineup. That would have been kind of cool

The Reds will be getting this one underway as the Pirates are taking it to the Cardinals tonight. 6-1 right now in the third.

The Pirates are knocking Lohse around....and he has two more years on his contract at 11.875M per year with no trade clause.

Rocket off the wall by Phillips. NAILED at second. Great throw by Braun.

On the plus side...Phillips looks locked back in.
