I bet Heisey tries to bunt for a hit.

Maybe. Does he have a shot against Lidge?

    Dammit.

I'm really ok if the boys get beat. I really am. Sure, it'd suck, but Doc was fantastic. Tip your cap.

This, though, tonight, just hurts worse. Beating yourself is SO much worse than getting beat by a better man (team).

Its one thing to get beat (see Halladay). Its another thing to beat yourself by repeatedly shooting yourself in the foot.

I'm not happy with just being in the playoffs. Maybe in a few months I will be but you have to go into these kinds of games with a killer instinct. You get a team down, you put your foot on their neck and don't let them up. 5 out innings and blown flyballs aren't doing that.
It's called inexperience. If the Reds can be in the playoffs enough years this decade it will be a rare accomplishment. A championship will eventually come as well.

I'd almost rather lose getting no-hit than to lose like this.

Polanco robs Heisey. Reds lose 7-4. That is one tough loss. To beat yourself really hurts.

No almost about it. If the best pitcher pitches at his best, c'est la vie. But this is just inexcusable and SO much more painful to watch.

I didn't think game 2 could be worse than game 1. I was wrong

If we play an average defensive game, we win. That's what hurts for me.
