What an awful play by Stubbs and Bruce.

Yep, that was ugly on several levels. Either could have made the play, then Stubbs didn't go after it hard, and then Juan didn't handle the throw in.

Just saw that Carlos Lee tripled to Jay Bruce/RF. And now I just read that Stubbs was involved.

I'm not sure that Vegas would have taken any action on that ever happening.

I'm not watching today (stuck at work), was the Lee triple legit? Somebody said something about a Bruce & Stubbs misplay.

Just looking at the stats, it seems LeCure is holding his own. Yeah, it's the Astros....but I'll take it from a 7th starter.

I feel the same way. I admit, I don't know much about him.. but in my ignorant view, he does not excite me. Hope he proves me wrong.
It's hard for me to figure out if Walt sees potential in him, or if he's just on the roster as an affordable reserve INF/OF (which does have value, of course).
[Phil ] Castellini celebrated the team's farm system and noted the team had promising prospects who would one day be great Reds -- and then joke then they'd be ex-Reds, saying "of course we're going to lose them". #SellTheTeamBob

I'm in the same boat, but I have a feeling it's because we haven't seen that prodigious power that everybody keeps talking about. Sure, he's hit a few dingers, but nothing that makes you go "wow!". I don't get to watch/listen to much of L'ville.

Stubbs and Bruce kind of looked at each other and neither really took charge of the ball. I still think Francisco going to be a monster power guy

Fay just tweeted that Bruce fouled one into the river.

Then when asked he said he didn't mean it literally.

    Why, John?

Now here's a guy who should be banned from Twitter....and all forms of media. I'm always afraid his stupidity might be contagious.

You should read his tweets when he leaves out words or doesn't spell things right...it's way worse trying to decipher it there, LOL

Wish I could stick around and chat it up with y'all but I have to head back to work now. Boo! :thumbdown
