    Janish is fine as the starting SS, don't get me wrong. But saying Janish is "good" at anything having to do with hitting is an epic stretch.

    That's just flat wrong. He may not get good results, but he IS good at making contact and he IS good at putting together solid ab's. He's very similar to Hanigan in that regard IMO.

    I'm not sure what happened to Qualls after he left Houston but he was a flat out stud with the Astros.

    Nice little stretch for Gomes the past few games has pushed his BA all the way up to .281.
