    This is actually a very smart move by TLR. Its not that McClellan is injured, he just doesn't want McClellan to start and then going in for a long delay. There is about a 100% chance this game is going to be delayed early so it makes absolute sense to start the long man in the bullpen.

    They are some big storms just west of St. Louis. This game may start on time but it won't go very long until a delay based on that radar.

    Yeah Reds it does look bad. However it looks like it might last just one or two hours. If that is the case, this game is going to be played.

    Maybe LaRussa is just planning for Bautista to drill Phillips and get tossed.
