If Stubbs gets on to start the game, will Gomes bunt him over?

I think his best bet is to lean into one and get on base that way. He's a complete mess at the plate right now.

Dusty is snickering right now. "They don't want the SS hitting 2nd, how about Gomes? Lets hear 'em on that one."

Is the Cleveland starting pitcher right-handed?

If so, I'd like to see:

    Lewis, DH
    Stubbs, CF
    Votto, 1B
    Phillips, 2B
    Bruce, RF
    Rolen, 3B
    Heisey, LF
    Hanigan, C
    Janish, SS

    Stubbs Ks'
Gomes does something generally crummy as usual
Votto grounds to O-Cab on a nice play.

    3 up, 3 down.

At risk of getting booed, glad to hear George in the booth.

He's lost too much to be a top shelf SS anymore, but I always thought he'd be a very good 2B as this point in his career. Very nice diving snag to rob Votto of a knock.

Fly to Heisey that would have been a double with Gomes out there. 2 Down.
