Isn't it odd that the pitchers he uses seem to be the ones who have control issues on several occasions? He's been absolutely terrible this year; how anybody could defend Dusty's managing this season is absurd.

I don't know what Dusty was doing tonight.There's been other games also that I've questioned the managing but I must admit, a lot of what I question with Dusty works out ok for some reason.I still don't think he should get off the hook because he's not out there playing.

When the players SO with bases loaded and no outs,fail to get bunts down and are unable to throw strikes they deserve some blame and they get plenty of it here imo.When Dusty makes a poor decision he deserves some of the blame also.

It was a nice team effort tonight.

When you have a slightly above average team and a terrible manager you get average results and that's what the Reds are.

Torres can't hit LH pitching. This was an easy call and Dusty fouled it up. He's been beyond horrible this year. That's just the truth.

To be fair, Torres' 3 year splits are fairly even. Unsure if the 2011 disparity is just a SSS issue or if it means anything. But for now it seems like a SSS issue.

He is not the be all reason this team is barely .500. It's not odd that the pitchers he uses do not throw strikes beacuse they all have that problem..... so is he not supposed to use anyone then? Who is he going to use that does throw strikes? How is that his fault? How about the pitchers themselves or Price?
To say he has been terrible beacuse the pitchers cannot throw strikes? That's a new one.

At what point does Dusty see that Billy Bray is NOT just a LOOGY? He CAN pitch to more than one batter. He gives both lefties AND righties fits.

This is the maddest I've been over a regular season game in a long time. He lets Arredondo pitch to Torres when Bray is ready and Torres is hitting under .100 against lefties. Then, he brings Bray in to throw pitches a K a man. Can't win with Kent and Bonds, can't win with Prior and Wood, can't win with Votto and Bruce. This guy is terrible.

I think someone made a wrong turn at the Sun Deck.

The teams you speak of all went to the playoffs with winning records. Not sure how you do that and someone concludes "can't win with...."
