Pull him now. Make a point.

    Sam LeCure can take over.

Its a .500 team. Its tough to make a point by singling out one player. Lot more problems on this team than just Volquez, though I completely understand your frustration.

I know this is a foreign idea to the Reds brass, but you could always, you know, try fixing some of these problems.

Thanks for that brilliant piece of info.
They don't call him the best color guy in the business for nothing!

(a nod to my favorite baseball movie right there )

Berkman's homer went 452 feet, a Busch Stadium record.

I think that is my biggest problem right now. It is hard to keep watching this stuff. A couple tweaks could make a big difference. They might not but I'd really appreciate the effort.

I was going to joke that at least Volquez was only giving up homers and not walking anyone but then that fell by the wayside.

How do they measure that? Telling me Pujols hasn't hit one that far the last few years?

Bringing up Willis for Volquez and Cozart for half of that suckfest at SS has been obvious for seriously over a month now.

And they refuse to do it.

If they were going to be proactive to solve this mess, they probably would have done something by now. This is insane watching the same players produce the same results game after game after game and all we get out of Walt is "we're happy with what we have."

I think the more appropriate question is, has David Weathers ever pitched to Pujols in that stadium?
