I admit, when they went 5-4 in that Cards/Pirates/Braves post-break stretch and were getting good pitching, I thought the breakout was about to happen. Ugh.

Complete and total disaster this season. I'm not sure any regular every day player has met my expectations.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Correction, Phillips has played better than I expected. Other than that, it's been bleh.

Arroyo in his last six starts:

    6/25: 5 ERs in 6.1 innings
    7/1: 8 ERs in 4.2 innings
    7/6: 5 ERs in 6.1 innings
    7/16: 4 ERs in 6.2 innings
    7/22: 4 ERs in 6.2 innings
    7/27: 4 ERs in 6 innings

30 earned runs over the last 36.2 innings. That is an ERA of 7.36 in the last month. OUCH.

I'm ready to trade Arroyo in for EV or Wood, and take our chances.

Many teams would be changing managers with this kind of disaster.

Mets announcers: "And the Cincinnati defensive circus continues", as Murphy singles off Votto's glove.

First time I've really thought BCast isn't happy and just may do something about it.

I wonder how much Rolen's absence has hurt the team. They never play this badly with him on th field.

I know what to expect from Arroyo these days. It bothers me more when they waste the good starts.

After taking 2 of 3 from the Braves I really hoped this team could finally get some type of momentum going and instead they follow it up with the ugliest series of the year.

Hilarious show. Just got into it a couple of weeks ago.
