Re: What am I listening to? (Part II)

Split Enz' True Colours is available on Spotify, which it wasn't before, and I have some history with the album and have been listening. After all these years I'm still not sure how I feel about 'I hope I Never' (I choose to believe it's purposely cheesy, with lines such as 'I still want to beam and smile/happiness is back in style'), but 'Nobody takes me seriously anyway' remains my theme song.

I once heard Tim Finn introduce this song by saying, "You don't have to be taken seriously; you just have to be taken!"

Yeah - I'm old --- but I've always thought John Cale had this song down right ---

Arise and walk, come through. A world beyond that door is calling out for you. Arise and walk, come through. It's calling out for you.

Just got tix to see the Lumineers in Charleston. Wish I could've seen them when they were still playing small venues, but still looking forward to it.

How can you go wrong with a group that's heavily influenced by ELO, has recorded with Debbie Gibson, and is named after the largest type of UFO (Big Black Delta)?
