They were great. I've seen War on Drugs a number of times and they're in excellent form. While I think we all prefer smaller, more intimate venues, their show/music works really well in larger rooms. The new album is a little bit slower for me, but the show was really lively. There was less banter than I had experienced in the past.

I don't think it sold out, but there was a big audience. I was expecting fans to dwindle over the almost two hour show, but folks stuck around. I was hoping to be front and center by the final few songs, but that wasn't happening. Which is cool; a big, engaged crowd is fun.

We got "Tangled Up in Blue" as the encore. They've been playing Tom Petty and Neil Young as well. Dylan, as an obvious influence, was great.

Hope you can make it to Louisville. That's a fun music city.

So, these guys are playing at War on Drugs' Louisville show. First time hearing them - I guess they're blowing up. They only have like three singles, this being their first. Absolutely amazing.

John Lennon- John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band

After about 10 listens, I’m convinced it’s better than any Beatles album.

Benji is his most overrated album in my opinion. Never understood the outpouring of praise that record gets.

Been listening to J.D. McPherson lately based on a coworker's recommendation. I dig it!

So I totally thought I was the only one who has heard of Lo Moon - Loveless. Great song! And music video in my opinion.

^Thorns is great, too. One single at a time.

Really like the 3 singles they have. Can't wait for their full album.

Newest Dispatch, "America, Location 12" is nice as well. Just picked that up Monday.

Wonderful new country record from Nicholas Jamerson of Sundy Best.

I think this might be my favorite Forecastle Lineup yet.
