    It's been a long time since the Reds have looked as lifeless and inadequate as they have looked on this road trip.

    Those two were meant as one in the same, how you choose to interpret it is up to you. Again, not advocating being uncompetitive, just reallocating playing time. If that makes us less than competitive, then I question the FO's decision to bring said players to bigs in the first place.
