Hanigan goes 4 for 4 -- with a single. He's putting on a clinic tonight.

Has this guy's strike zone been this huge the entire night?

Hernandez designated hero to pinch hit for Masset. But Storen hurls his thunderbolts and Hernandez gets skunked instead.

Then Janish would have actually gotten my sympathy for a lousy strikezone.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

of course the converted shortstop makes that great outfield catch, why wouldn't he?

George Grande would never say something like "He definitely didn't need to dive for that ball" even when it's obvious.

Instead, he'll say something like "What a great catch!"

No, George, any MLB OF would have made that play.

Because the year is 2011 and not 2010.

Up to Phillips, who, along with Hanigan, has collected most of the Reds hits tonight.

It's funny how an OF catching a ball while not standing up is such a sideshow for some people. Most of the time, those guys didn't even need to dive/slide/whatever. Sappelt did it earlier in the game. Kind of "dove" for a ball he would have caught standing up no prob.

Grande quoting Jerry Narron, always a good sign.

Phillips keeps it alive with a single.

This strike zone is baffling to me.
