Sapp has played a very good LF. Nice throw to the plate to nail a runner in the 8th.

He just needs time to settle down at the plate. He's been pitched pretty tough so far. I contend he can be a very pesky top of the order guy before long.
Yea, what I'm seeing is major league pitchers saying "fresh meat" and just challenging him with heat. Well, with his impatience, he's been getting himself out. The last AB in Washington and the last two ABs show that he may have already made the adjustment in his approach.

I expect Cordero to give up 3 runs and send it into extra's.

With no pitchers left, Arroyo comes in with zero games rest, pitches 10 scoreless innings, but loses on a HR. He moves to Boston, and is never heard from again, except on the Midnight Express.
I would just like to nominate this as the Game Thread post of the year.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
