Not a night for pitchers.
She used to wake me up with coffee ever morning
This is a bizarre game, to say the least. We've scored in 5 of the last 6 innings, and they have scored in the last 5.
I expect Cordero to give up 3 runs and send it into extra's.
With no pitchers left, Arroyo comes in with zero games rest, pitches 10 scoreless innings, but loses on a HR. He moves to Boston, and is never heard from again, except on the Midnight Express.

They may leave Wood in?

Kudos to Stubbs for his throw and clutch grounder. With first and third, one out, Stubbs made contact and hit the grounder to break the tie.
Cordero in

Exhausting game. Reds hang tough.
We get good Coco tonight.

Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
Knock down, drag out ballgame in the dog days. Nice to see some runs scored after so many futile efforts.
Happy to see Sappelt with some quality ABs. Give him time -- he's going to be a tough hitter, IMO.
Hanigan -- gotta be the best backup catcher in baseball.
The Votto AB vs. Hanrahan leading off the 9th was a great one. Love watching that guy battle.
I thought that ball to left was played as well as Sappelt could. It was a sinking line drive that turns into an inside-the-park-homer if it gets by him. That would have gone over well.
I don't think it was as easy as just reaching out and catching it.
And he is starting to look less anxious at the plate.
Everyone wants to see the minor leaguers, then expects polish, I guess.

Sapp has played a very good LF. Nice throw to the plate to nail a runner in the 8th.
He just needs time to settle down at the plate. He's been pitched pretty tough so far. I contend he can be a very pesky top of the order guy before long.
