Hernandez grounds out weakly to the infield. Is a 2-run lead enough for CoCo?

Votto with the nice scoop there.
Reds win 8-6. Codero with a perfect ninth. Yonder and Sappelt with the big hits. OUtside of Cueto, Lecure and Masset, they acted like a different team in innings 7-9.

Just how many blowout wins have the Reds had this season?
Like Kc61, maybe you should look it up. The bottom line is that stats can tell us a pretty accurate story of the history of the season.
This is not an attack on you or Kc61 but it seems to me that fans with no faith in the stats never pay attention to the stats, never look'em up, they just brush them away as if being pestered by gnats, all the while muttering to themselves and all whoever will listen many false ideas of what they honestly believe to be true.
The Pitching has been more to blame than the Offense for this frustrating season. Like Ol' Casey Stengel said you can look it up.

Which paid off immediately with Votto making a nice scoop on Stanton's ground ball. What is strange about double switching in a close game so he potentially has more than one inning from his reliever if needed?
I know of no managerial strategy of "leave in star of game until final out."
