FWIW, the Nats have left more men on base today.
Frazier gave it a ride....just a loud out at the wall.

Sappelt has not impressed......I mean I can take him not walking much at all but at least make something happen with the bat if you do not. He has looked worse than Norris Hopper hitting.
Shallow flair from Stubbs...but it scoots by Morse. Single & error for Stubbs.
Stubbs could almost walk to third. High leg kick from Clippard.
Not even close. Up AND outside.
Why?!? PH for Janish....Renteria? Yonder's sitting right there ready.
Predictable. Renteria K's to end the inning. 3-3 heading to the 9th.
Masset. Struggling of late, hope he has it today.
single to start the 9th. Masset's gonna Masset.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”
This last couple few minutes are what drives me crazy with Dusty. Replace one crappy hitter with another, so now you are one man shorter, and you've put a worse defender in the game.
And then in a situation where there is no margin for error, you put in a guy who is struggling, when you could put in someone like Ondrusek.
lol Masset

Leadoff single from Desmond, SB, Single from Werth. 4-3 Nats. Thanks Masset.
