Good Coco shows up. Reds win 4-2 thanks to Dave S. , Votto and Codero.

Leaving a pitcher who had thrown about 85 pitches allowing only a couple of poorly hit basehits in the game was the sensible think to do.

Actually if Cordero had come in to start the 9th, many would have complained that Dusty was putting in the closer simply becuas eit was s ave situation.

Leake was cruising like no pitcher has cruised for us this year.

    That's a fact jack.

Lecure induced the DP or the game dosen'tt get into extra's.

    Chapman gets 4 key outs.

And of course, the real star of the day, Mike Leake who gave up only 2 runs in 9 innings to get us into extra's so everyone else can get us the win.

Seems like "one bad pitch" is the mantra for this team in 2011. Homer, Leake, how many others? We need offense and we need it bad. Walt?

Kid's gonna be good. Shame we couldn't score more runs against the hapless Cubs while he was in there. But it's a win, Mike can't sue for non-support, and all's well that ends well.

Gotta put the hitter away there. Leake would be the first to tell you that he had Castro fooled that entire AB and didn't make the pitch he needed.

I don't understand why Marty and Jeff were complaining about Bruce late in the game.

Jay got on base his first 3 times to the plate (BB and 2 Hits) and very easily should have had 2 RBI.

There's no wonder so many fans turn against some of these young players with those two Idiots in the booth.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this result. Went to bed with the sacks jammed assuming we probably were going to lose. Welcome news.

He has, a credit to my wife's alma mater back in Missouri.

It's a heartening win, having watched the highlights online now (since my wife's alarm clock was an hour early, I got a chance to watch them after my walk which I took an hour early...). Nice to see the bullpen come through solidly and we get some runs to win an extra-inning game on the road.
