After a shaky start, pretty good.

Wild pitch scores Janish 6-4 Reds!

John Gaub pitching, wild pitch, Janish scores. Stubbs to second.

No problem with Bailey hitting the showers after six. But why did Dusty send him up to bat then?

Sorry, my computer locked up. Votto was called out on strikes on a check swing, base umpire ringing up. Aredondo got two out and then hit Ramirez. Bray then got the 3rd out. Still 6-4 Reds.

Alonso led off with a walk, Glaub out, Wood pitching now. Leake running for Alonso, Heisey up.

You just never have enough runs with the pitching staff we have. Never.

Tough fate for Bailey. Bullpen will need major work for 2012. I've been thinking two new faces, may need 3.

    This.

One of which has to be a closer. This is brutal and has been going on all year. How many extra innings games have we had that the bullpen blew for us?

Closer has not been that big a problem for us this year.

True, but the $$ concerns me. Not sure we can afford Codero.

It wont be too long before the name of Jay Bruce is added to this list.

Bruce has 99 now, not too shabby for as few AB's as he's had to make up his short Reds career.
