those 3 homeruns have jacked up Arroyo's HR/9IP to 2.167, the 2nd highest of all-time.
Only Jose Lima's 2000, at 2.20 tops it.
Lol

I just saw a tweet that Bronson has the same number of HRs allowed as he has walks given up (44) this year. Wow. Great control.

Wow! Paul Janish got a hit!

Ho hum, Joey Votto does something good. 2-run single makes it 6-3. Since Joey is basically the anti-Janish, can we start calling him Hard J?
Did anyone see me on Reds Live tonight? I was at the game for FSN Ohio night at the ballpark and was in the crowd during the broadcast for the first part of the show. My random moment of stardom! LOL
Anyway, tonight was a fun time aside from the game score and these annoying hecklers that were in my section. There were some Brewer fans in our section who were being obnoxious but thankfully they left about halfway through the game. They were bratty fans and we had to laugh that they couldn't even remember where their team finished in the NL Central last year, LOL This one guy sitting behind me claimed to be a Reds fan but said he doesn't like any of the younger players. He mentioned by name Alonso, Stubbs, Heisey, Sappelt, and Frazier and if he hadn't left he probably would have kept going. All I can say about that is....um, what?! I don't understand how you can claim to be a fan of a team and yet hate all the younger players who are not bad players at all and by most accounts, are very nice guys too.
BTW-That Sappelt catch was great. We cheered for him afterwards (I was sitting out in the left field seats above the out of town scoreboard.)
"I tried to play golf, but I found out I wasn't very good." -Joey Votto on his offseason hobby search
An MLB.com reporter asked what one thing Votto couldn’t do. “I can’t skate or play hockey,” Votto said. “Well, I can skate ... but I can’t stop.”
I still believe the Reds should have shut Bronson down weeks ago.
The quest to keep his never missing a start streak alive has hurt both Arroyo and the ballclub. IMHO
