I hurt my leg a few years back. People there were drinking Bud Light. I used one as an ice pack for my injury.

    1) Budweiser: Latest annual sales: $7.07 billion

While it only increased sales by 0.3 percent from the year prior, the "King of Beers" was far and away the best-selling beer brand in the U.S. The AB InBev-owned domestic lager not only dominated U.S. sales, but it is also sold in more than 80 countries around the world, according to Zippia, making it arguably one of the most recognizable global brew brands on the market.

McDonalds also sees a hell of profit. In many ways it says more about advertising, consistency and the low bar consumers set than anything.

Budweiser is a thread in American culture, it's not likely to vanish under the watch of In-Bev, even despite In-Bev buying numerous craft breweries

Actually most places will rate Bud Light as the #1 beer in America. I think that article combines Bud and Bud Light. They really shouldn't do that. 2 completely different beers

This will be of great comfort to the fictional creatures that drink small amounts of beer.

I've been to dinner at Jimmy Buffet's house, and I've eaten it at a homeless shelter. And there's great joy and harrowing terror to be found in both places.

Actually, I don’t. Somehow my garage supply has dwindled. Actually I do know. My kids and spouses and girlfriend were at the house over the holidays and drank my beer supply to close to zero. I think I have some Coronas and summer shandies left over that my wife bought last summer.

But… we just got a case of wine (a plug here for Victor’s Wine over on the west side, Paul is very knowledgeable and a great guy) and I got some bottles of bourbon for Christmas. So I’ll be ok for a while

Rivertown Brewery - which moved from Lockland to Monroe a few years ago - is closing permanently.

That’s what happens when you don’t pay your property taxes.

Their food was better than their brew.

One of my favorite Asheville breweries, Hi-Wire, is adding a location in Cincinnati.

Monroe was a lousy location. Too far out in the boonies. My son knew their master brewer when they started up in Loveland but he long since moved on. They lost their mojo on their beer and their food was just ordinary. Not worth the trip.
