Re: Annual "Pitchers & Catchers Report" illustration

That time of year again. This year's illustration was a simple one, as my daughter explains in her blogpost.

    http://thefinestmuffins.blogspot.com...nd-of-day.html

For those of you who haven't seen the previous illustrations, there's a link for each year at the bottom that says "Memory Lane" and a link for each year.

Re: Annual "Pitchers & Catchers Report" illustration

I always wait for this day, not just for the onset of the baseball season, but because my daughter puts out her annual Pitchers & Catchers Report day illustration. A different approach this year.

Man I hate the cold with a passion. Wish I could afford to spend the whole month out there watching games. Ready for some baseball. Your daughter did a wonderful job BTW.

Like the swallows at Capistrano and the buzzards in Hinckley, Ohio, spring is hearkened by Pitchers & Catchers reporting to Florida and Arizona.

And with that, comes my daughter's annual Pitchers & Catchers reporting day illustration. As I mentioned in earlier posts, you can see the entire collection at the bottom by clicking on the link for Pitchers & Catchers.

Oh, and a nice homage to Frank Robinson - the player is wearing #20.

Thanks for pointing that out. I hadn't scrolled down far enough to see that one. Very nice!

    This is great work, Metz!

I also love that her blog name is a nod to the West Wing.

Thanks! I'm biased, but I wholeheartedly agree. And I like that she translates her passion for baseball (among other things) to her artistic talents.

I always enjoy seeing her illustrations. BTW, her link to the genesis of "Finest Muffins and Bagels" doesn't go anywhere.

Thanks, I'll let her know. Looks like the version she had was taken down.

A day late, but here's my daughter's annual Pitchers & Catchers report illustration. Let Spring Training commence!

If you've not seen this before, there are links from her blogpost for the other years going back to 2009.

Here is this year's illustration done by my daughter which actually builds off of last year's.
