Deep enough to try with a speedy runner.

Hanigan hasn't been real good at that type of situational hitting this year.

Not very good hitting there with Hanigan grounding to third and Cozart going up 3-1 in the count and fouling out.

Both teams with the meat of the order coming up, third inning should be of interest.

“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

He just doesn't have the power to the opposite field that a guy like Votto has. Not sure if that's something that can be improved upon or not.

2 outs nobody on, 0-2 count on Kip Wells...and they get 2 runs. Ugh.

Arroyo threw a cookie to wells at 0-2 and severely paid for it. Yuck

Yeah, Arroyo's been playing with fire all night. Only a matter of time 'til he got burned.

Having said that, though, it seems like the Pads have had a lot of seeing-eye singles get through for base hits this series. Two of 'em that last inning plated both runs. I guess that's the risk you take when you don't miss a lot of bats.
