Navarro pops out, Leake gets a hit to left. If Dusty asks Cozart to bunt, I'm going to throw my laptop out the window.

Cards should've had an easy DP, but Schumaker drops the ball on the exchange.

Cozart is wearing Carpenter out down at third.

One reason is that the Cards don't hit as many fly balls. Cards fly ball rate is 31.5% with Reds at 36.4%.

Stubbs down 0-2. Not hard to figure how this at-bat is going to end. Anddddd it does. Strike three swinging down and away.

Stubbs could use a couple of days off.

    Joe DiMaggio, he is not.

Stubby booed pretty hard by Cincy standards after that AB.

    About 34, by my calculation.

I've been a Stubbs supporter to a certain extent, but with each passing day I think he needs a change of scenery more than a couple of days off. I'd be surprised if he's written in stone as the every day guy in CF next year.

And Thom states "he is a lightning rod for the fans here. You can here the boos"

Yep. Six K's in a row does not merit many cheers.

Marty is pining for Bruce to move to CF and Frazier to RF when Votto comes back.

I seem to remember Votto. First baseman, right?

Man. I wouldn't hesitate to hit for Stubbs if he comes up in a big situation in his next AB.

Looking pretty rough up there right now. Garcias change is eating him alive today.

Reds have played 30 games in 30 days. (I think one day off and a doubleheader.) Some of them can use a day or two off.

But I agree, and have said for some time, that I don't understand while Drew plays so much. He has so many PAs every year which his bat doesn't warrant.

I've got some issues with Heisey too, but I agree if the Reds keep Stubbs next year they need a partner for him in CF to play a bunch of games.
