Me: You just saw a no hitter, they're kinda rare.
    My Friend: Oh cool.

I think I'm going to have to buy him season tickets (first time he's ever been at a baseball game)
Personally, I think you should buy him a subscription to the Sporting News...he seems kinda clueless. LOL.

As a sidenote, Homer ensured that the Pirates will NOT have a winning season in 2012 by handing them their 81st loss
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Good point, the Reds have put some psychological hurts on a couple division rivals this week!

I have a long history with no-no's. let me explain. I Listened to all three of Jim Maloney's gems. I was present at Tom Terrific's no-no at Riverfront. I watched Browning's on TV. And then tonight. Gotta believe this is the second best. So happy for Homer, but nothing replaces being there live at the ballpark. I should have been there.

Also looks like the Reds willl be tied for the best record at the end of the night as the Cards are killing the Nationals 9-1

Even Fay just made it onto TV due to the coverage, probably just drawing little doodles in his notepad.

Strangely, after about the second or third inning, I had a pretty strong feeling it was going to happen. Usually it's not really worth thinking about until after 5-6 innings. But tonight, it just felt like a real possibility.
