    This thread is as dead as the Reds bats in September.
    Attended 1976 World Series in my Mother's Womb. Attended 1990 World Series Game 2 as a 13 year old. Want to take my son to a a World Series Game in Cincinnati in my lifetime.

    We're completely fine for the playoffs provided all our pitchers throw shutouts and Selig changes the rules to decide tie games with penalty kicks.

    Barmes singles, then moves to 2nd on a wild pickoff attempt.
    Pinch hitter Brock Holt sac bunts Barmes to 3rd, 1 out.
    Presley doubles to the left center gap, Barmes scores. Pirates 1 - Reds 0
    Harrison walks on four pitches.
    McCutcheon flies out to deeeep left center, moving Presley to 3rd base. 2 outs.
    Jones Ks on 3 pitches. 3 outs.

    After 7 complete, Pirates 1 - Reds 0.

    Jose has bee useless for weeks now....he should not be on this roster during the 1st round of playoffs at all.

    He is going to have to do it ion the playoffs though.

    I mean I understand he is not going to be 100% yet......but it's almost like we are expecting him to get hurt again.

    Pinch hitter Ludwick with a leadoff double. Phipps pinch runs for him.
    Valdez sac bunts him over to third, 1 out.
    They intentionally walk Votto.
    Cozart strikes out swinging. 2 outs.
    Rolen lines a single into left, Phipps scores, Votto to 2nd and Gregorious goes in to pinch run for him. Reds 1 - Pirates 1
    The Mighty Bruce strikes out. 3 outs.

    Middle of the 8th - Reds 1 - Pirates 1
