Then he is not thinking straight. Sure...let the Reds go into the playoffs with a losing mentality and trying to go down a seed. He had to have been kidding.

My least favorite part of MLB.TV is that they have the same commercials between every inning for weeks. Even a good commercial dies a quick death that way.

Broxton serves one up to McCutcheon. 2-0 Buccos. Game over.

I didn't think that one was hit hard enough to get out!

I loathe AM. Oh well, meaningless game anyway for the most part.

I think BCubb was being sarcastic...

"You know what seed I'd like to have? Me, I'd like to be three," Speier said. "I'd like to know that they're coming to me, and I've got two games at home. But that's not the scenario or anything that this team is about in regards to winning or losing games. We're going to play every game, and we're going to try to win every game. We're playing teams that are hot, that we don't want to face, and we're going to try to do what we can to knock everybody we play out."

So no one was being sarcastic.

That is only for the 1st round Chris...not the the next round.

It's fine. Let Stubbs and Valdez try and win games for you and lose out on best record.....and maybe we will sit around wishing we would not have when we get past the 1st round.

That's because we've only hit a couple balls that hard all month. Our eyes are out of practice.

I hope that's not his mentality. I gaurantee it isn't Dusty's, who returns on Monday.

The playoff setup for this season is stupid, and typical Bud Selig, but there's no reason this team can't at least win one on the road before having 3 shots to win two at home.

Things return to "normal" in round 2.
