According to Hrabosky on the Monday night telecast, the Cardinals would be able to clinch it the right way on Tuesday, not having to back in to the playoffs like some other teams. Guessing like a lot of what comes out of his mouth, this will largely be forgotten.

Bob Gibson is 7-2 in the postseason. Want him pitching in the playoffs this year?

Scratch that, he might actually be better than Carpenter right now, lol.

Does that record somehow make his curveball have more bite or add MPH to his fastball?

Bob Gibson could probably come out and give the Cardinals a quality inning even in his advanced age.
