Lecure was the pitcher of record when the Reds took the lead, so it wasn't in the official scorer's discretion. I think you are thinking about the situation where the starter is in line for the win but doesn't complete 5 innings. Cueto was not in line for the win when he left.
I thought you had to pitch past the 5th inning to get the win?
When Phillips hit that HR it was sorta like Eric Davis' HR in game one of the 1990 WS. Not exactly but I got a similar type feeling that the Reds had control of this series.
