    From the Athletic:

Sunday Night Baseball should be a spotlight on baseball's best. The Cubs don't look to be among that group anymore. And they haven't been for a while. But hey, at least fans without Marquee finally got to watch their team again, right?

The Cubs are a one hit wonder that play in a beer garden in front of a bunch of drunks. And they act like they are ordained custodians of the game. Please.

There was some kinda shouting match between Willson Contreras and Anthony Rizzo in the game vs the Giants tonight, Rizzo had to be restrained and pushed to the other end of the dugout. I can't find anything about what they were arguing about.

Cubs' Javier Báez loses track of outs, pulled from game in loss to Indians

Chicago Cubs shortstop Javier Báez was pulled by manager David Ross after the fourth inning on Monday after he lost track of how many outs there were while on the basepaths, leading to an inning-ending double play in a 4-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians.

"We just got to make sure we’re focused and locked in during the game," Ross said. "Sometimes, our frustrations can distract us a little bit."

Báez was on first base with one out when Anthony Rizzo hit a fly ball to left field in the bottom of the fourth. Báez continued running past second base, allowing the Indians to double him up at first base after Eddie Rosario caught the flyout.

After finishing a sweep of the Cardinals on 6/13, the Cubs are 4-15 since.

Joe West up to his usual shenanigans in the Cubs/Phillies game tonight. Biggest one he called a ball foul that landed on the line (by rule, it should have been fair).

If Ricketts had a competitive bone in his body this team would be a legit contender. Instead he’s a Penny pincher and going to watch his boys win 75, if he’s lucky. Embarrassing team from ownership down this year.
