What is the point of throwing at someone? Do any of you actually think there was any kind of purpose behind that pitch?
I don't think the Reds took a high school pitcher in the 1st round with hopes that he could be their #5 starter in 8 years.
I think they, and most, thought he had TOR stuff, and could be a TOR starter within 5 years....many even sooner.
He's serviceable as a #5 starter....but it continues to be a roller coaster ride for fans. His trade value continues to decline as well.
He has the occasional gem, and as a #5....that's nice.
