Well...in fairness...if someone has a "hot" streak, that means that sometimes they also have "cold" streaks.

And then there was this...

Bruce inevitble hot streak: ha ha! Look at all the idiots that questioned him!

Bruce inevitble cold streak: all the idiots ripping on him are so stupid, just wait for his hot streak in a month! Then we can get back to posting frog pictures and posting small sample sizes while we laugh at all the idiots! Just hold out for another month! If that doesn't happen we can talk about his age and/or injury 12 months ago! Just shake it off, Jay, shake it offff!

I didn't say I didn't want Bruce to play well, I was simply pointing out the cliche responses from some after a hot streak begins.

I don't understand why anyone that questions anything Bruce does or doesn't lick his cleats is portrayed as wishing he performs poorly. We are all Reds fans.

There was a post, I believe in a recent game thread, where a poster said he would be willing to forgo the hot streaks if he could eliminate the cold streaks.
