I thought maybe Jax would take a look at Kap this season....but then camp came and I guess they were not interested

Rams, CB Jalen Ramsey agree to five-year, $105M contract, agent says
The Los Angeles Rams and Jalen Ramsey have agreed to terms on a five-year, $105 million extension that is the largest contract ever for a cornerback, agent David Mulugheta told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Ramsey becomes the first defensive back in NFL history to sign a deal worth over $100 million, and his $71.2 million at signing is the largest guarantee to a defensive back.

better than half of the NFL starters from the article I read...and @ 81, he is 5 points better than he was when he last was on a roster 4 years ago when he was a 76! There is a petition to add Bobby Boucher to the game as a edge rusher! It would be less of a joke than rating Kap with a score of 81.

So, the Chiefs have won something like 27 of their last 30 games against AFC West opponents. Nothing should change this season for the NFL Champions as they go 6-0. With that confidence and easy Division schedule, they shoulad at least go 7-3 in their other games and earn home-field advantage through most, if not all, of the playoffs in the AFC.

I'm surprised the Chiefs o/u on wins is only 11.5. Seems too easy. Unfortunately, in my experience when a bet seems too easy it usually ends up going the other way!

You don't win if they only play 11 games.
But, let's say that it's conditional that they play 16 games (which, of course, it is), then they only have to go 6-4 in those other games. Seems pretty easy when you look at those 10 games.
HOU, BAL, NEP, BUF, NYJ, CAR, TAM, MIA, NOS, ATL.
Say, they beat ATL, MIA, NYJ and CAR.
That leaves them having to get two wins from HOU, BAL, NEP, BUF, TAM and NOS. No problem, right? I'd say, NEP and HOU.

"Bets on long shots, on the other hand, are normally much smaller -- in the $25 range, and often made more as a novelty or souvenir than a serious wager. A $25 bet on the Cleveland Browns to win the Super Bowl, for example, has made for a great gag gift for years."

I hate those bets....the bookmaker gets to hold your money for months. I get if you are a serious gambler and can drop a decent amount on a long bet....but I am more of a small wager, immediate gratification amateur gambler. I prefer to bet on events that I will know the outcome within 72ish hours. I will collect my $20!

now, Mahomes breaks his thumb and is out for 3 Weeks? Kelce or Hill have a real injury and miss games? All that has to be included into the odds. I would guess that number moves up to 12.5 if there was a guarantee that those 3 guys would play all 16 games. Also....every DC on their schedule has had months to break down their film from last year and scheme to try to slow them down....and probably spent more time on them that most other teams on their schedule. I would not be surprised if their offense is a little less dominant this season simply for the reason so much time will have been spent of trying to slow them down in the offseason.

not use to seeing the Chiefs with these long drives and controlling the clock. I do not think it is by accident either....play calling have been much more conservative than the previous two seasons.

No fan of Skip Bayless, and this only enhances that.
