Actually, my super hot take is that more players are just standing at home plate waiting until their are 2 strikes on them and then either swinging at sliders in the dirt for strike three or watching strike 3 go down the middle of the plate.

It means he’s missed several games in July due to his quad. He went to the IL in August. He’s banged up now due to a HBP...didn’t start both games of the DH today.
The main reason he isn’t qualified is his injuries, but hell, let’s ignore that and blame the coach.
