    Opening Day Tickets

Being fully vaccinated and having not seen a live game in well over a year, if the price isn't outrageous I would like to try and attend. Anyone have a ballpark idea what tickets may run this year? I have to think reduced capacity will increase the costs, but at the same time there has to be a segment that isn't vaccinated that wouldn't want to go and risk it?

You'll need to call Mike DeWine about tickets. He is the one who has ultimate say in how many the Reds can sell.

And I bet they'll only be sold to premium season ticket holders once that figure is decided.

    30% outside, last I heard.

Season Ticket holders get first crack, so I'm guessing only secondary market.

I heard 3k for bleacher seat opening day in LA. People are kind of hyped.

For the record, single-game tickets for non-season ticket holders go on sale March 17th.

As a season ticket holder (2 tickets) I was only allowed to purchase two. In the past the maximum regardless of how many season tickets purchased was 4 for Opening Day.
So, I'm taking Chip and the total cost with fees for 2 tickets in the upper Sun Deck was $143.50.

I was able to get my opening day tickets as a 13 game Saturday season ticket holder. Was able to snag Mezz seats. Can’t wait.

Ditto - we're working on a ten year streak and would prefer to continue it without spending $700 for two tickets!

Hopefully, the prices start to drop some. I've had a hotel booked for months, but like many, I'm not spending $700 to sit in the 500 level for two tickets.

It looks like they are starting to drop - I'm currently seeing two for $460 total with fees. Anyone have any insight or experience on how long I can comfortably wait for the price to continue to drop without worrying about getting shut out (or substantially increasing?) At the moment, I see several options at $250 or less per ticket.

It all depends on that weather report.

So far, the weather for opening day seems to be 53 degrees and overcast.

Looks like the price of tickets has kind of leveled out. The weather doesn't look the best in the world now either, temperature could be in the 30's.
