    4/19/26 Minor League Games

LOUISVILLE FINAL - Louisville wins a 2-1 game today, their second straight win against the Mud Canaries. The win puts them at 12-9. This places the 3rd in their division, just 2 games back of the leader.

Davis Daniel has now given up 2 earned runs or less in 4 of his 5 starts. Today's effort was sublime. 7 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 1 BB and 8 Ks. Daniel is 30 years old but does come with some major-league experience.

Lyon Richardson handled the 8th easily. His ERA is still 0.00 after 12.1 innings.

Luis Mey came in and got the save, but not until he gave up the Toledo's lone tally on the afternoon.

Hector Rodriguez had one of the Bats four hits, a single.

Noelvi Marte doubled in 4 trips. 3 of his 5 hits in limited action have been for extra bases. He is OPSing a healthy .929. Marte was in centerfield today.

JJ Bleday struck out 3 times, but it was his forth AB that mattered. That was a 2-run poke (5) that provided all of the Louisville offense today.

    Michael Toglia singled and walked.

CHATTANOOGA FINAL - Chattanooga took its 4th win in a row, moving to 12-3 for 2026. That has the team squarely in first place.

Nate Peterson keeps humming along. He worked 5.2 innings and gave up his only earned run of the season. 5.2 IP, 5 H, 1 R. 1 ER. 1 BB and 4 strike outs. ERA now sits at 0.63. Peterson is a 26-year-old lefty that the Reds picked up from Milwaukee in the minor league Rule V draft.

Hunter Parks recorded 4 outs, including one on strikes. ERA - 0.00.

    Taylor Floyd somehow got the save. 2.0 IP, 2 H, 1 R, 1 ER 3 BB and 0 Ks.

Carlos Jorge is back from the IL list and it looks as if he never missed a beat with a single, a walk and a stolen base (4). He is batting .381 and OPSing .956.

Cam Collier is heating up. He walked and hit a solo shot. His 3rd on the year.

    Austin Hendrick singled and walked.

DAYTON FINAL - Dayton takes a back-and-forth affair from Great Lakes on Sunday. That levels their season's mark at 7-7, which is good for 3rd in the Midwest League.

Nelson Lorant battled uncharacteristic wildness but put in a creditable effort. 5 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 4 BB and 6 Ks. For the campaign, Lorant has struck out 18 in14 innings.

Brody Jessee did not have it today. 3 runs allowed in 2/3rds of an inning.

Graham Osman was a bit hittable but kept it together. 1.1 IP, 4 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 1 BB and 2 strike outs.

Victor Diaz was incredible, collecting 6 outs while facing just 5 batters. He relieved Osman and induced a double play to make that happen. He garnered the victory as the Dragons scored 2 in the death to pull the game out 6-5.

Carlos Sanchez is excelling in the leadoff position, reaching base 4 times on the day - 2 singles and 2 walks. Sanchez is hitting .333. He also stole his 8th base.

Alfredo Duno is breaking out of a mini slump. 2 singles and a walk.

Ryan McCrystal with a single and a walk.

Yerlin Confidan was a force with 3 base knocks that drove in 4 runs, including the game winner.

Peyton Stovall singled and walked. He stole a base (4).

The Dragons rapped out 10 hits, all singles. They added 7 walks. It was enough to get the job done.

On the downside, they fanned 16 times.

DAYTONA FINAL - Daytona has seen enough of St. Lucie this weekend. First, they blow a 7-0 lead on Saturday. Next, the get whomped 13-4 on Sunday.

No need to go into details on the pitching. It was putrid. Sheng-En Lin got bounce around as did everyone that followed save Mike Villani. Villani worked a shut out frame.

Kyle Henley doubled and walked. In the course of the action, he stole bases 12 and 13.

Jacob Friend singled and homered (3). He has been the man for Daytona at the plate so far in '26. His OPS is 1.240 in 50 PA.

    Arnaldo Lantigua singled and walked.

    Mason Neville walked twice.

    Drew Davies doubled and walked.

Daytona committed 5 errors and had a passed ball.

After hearing that Dayton whiffed 16 times, the Tortugas, collectively, said, "Hold my beer." 18 strike outs on the day. Wow!

Daytona is now 5-10 (which is what they should receive for all those strike outs). Not certain that they can even see first place from where they are.
