    194. I was once the object of your desires. I think we can all agree that Father Time is a no good , sorry bum. I once walked like a sexy Nefertiti. But now I just walk like a sexagenarian. But because I was ballet dancer, I can still do the splits.

    Eternally Yours,

    ???

You still recognize me, DON'T YOU?

That’s the lovely and talented Susanna Hoffs.

Wow. That's not a good pic of her. I think she could clean up and look better than that even in her 60s

Yeah, I think Susie said no to makeup before snapping the nap time selfie. I prefer remembering her this way:

Remember Susanna's eyes darting back and forth in that "Walk Like an Egyptian" video? I read awhile back that it was not an intentional thing for the video. She had incredible stage fright and to help with her fear, her eyes would dart back and forth between two friendly faces in the crowd, one on the her right and one on her left.

    Most beautiful musician ever IMO

Don’t know if I’ve ever seen a woman who’s more “my type”. Manson victim Sharon Tate would also be on my Mt Rushmore of prettiest ever

I’m proud and thankful to say that my current partner is also in her 60s and looks great. She also my type. Doesn’t take a back seat to anyone her age IMO

    195. *** TODAY IN ROCK MUSIC HISTORY ***

On this day, June 3rd, in 1967 my song hit #1 in America , topping the Billboard Hot 100 and remaining at #1 for two consecutive weeks. I would turn the song , written by the late, great Otis Redding , into a women's empowerment anthem. The song, in the most recent rankings in Rolling Stone magazine, is ranked as the #1 Greatest Song of all-time.

Now, it would be another 20 years before I would have a song that would again top the Billboard Hot 100. For that hit, I would team up with a golden -voiced British singer to top the Billboard chart for the second , and last, time in my career.

Who am I and what is my hit song that topped the Billboard Hot 100 on this day 59 years ago? Also, what was my duet that hit#1 on the Hot 100 in 1987 and who was my singing partner for that chart topper?

She actually doesn’t. No one knows my password. She will never read that post. Our connection is rock solid. I don’t need to score brownie points but I do concede that my post came across that way. I get why you’d get that impression

No, I was totally joking. Didn't think that for a second. I think it's nice that think highly of your lady. I totally believe you.

I think Susanna has some tour dates scheduled this summer. I think she's gonna be doing some touring with Billy Idol.

She's known to post makeup-less selfies of herself that don't usually show her in the best light. I actually love that about her. Not a lot of women willing to do that. She's obviously very comfortable in her skin. I have to say, even though she's 67, I still find her attractive. Still has great dance moves. Talented lady outside of music, as well. She's a novelist. Her debut novel, A Bird Has Flown, was published in 2023.
