Who knows the logistics on Marte? He may not be in Cincinnati quickly enough that they want to start him.

Arroyo is probably getting a day to step back, settle down and take in all that's happened. I don't think that's a terrible idea. Who knows if Marte is even here yet. Benson's HR last night probably earned him a start. If it's the start of a hot streak, he may play for a while. I'm not a Benson fan, but he does have an occasional hot streak. May as well ride it. If it goes as I suspect, he'll be out of the line-up Friday.

I’m not going to mince my words here. It’s just dumb sitting Arroyo already and starting McLain over him against a RHP. McLain has had almost 1.5 years showing us he stinks against RHP. The least they can do is give Edwin more than one lousy game against a RHP.
My guess is they will short side platoon Noelvi with Benson again and wonder why it doesn’t work. The definition on insanity…

I’m just so sick of watching him get pass after pass, for his horrible hitting against RHP. I don’t know if it’s because he had one hot streak 3 years ago, loyalty, he’s a great dude, or he has dirt on Krall/Tito, but it’s beyond ridiculous at this point.

I don't get Tito's love for Blake Dunn. Keep in mind Blake Dunn made the Opening Day roster in 2025. Was demoted to Louisville after about 3 weeks ... and then proceeded to completely suck there.
And now he's playing everyday, batting leadoff everyday? Very disappointing. He's not even a good AAA player. And Tito is treating him like he's a valuable piece. I know options are very limited, but damn.
He did have a 400 OBP in AAA last year, (and a 400 slg) so I wouldn’t say he sucked in 2025 in AAA (2024 yes, but not 2025)
Anyone who has been on the roads in Louisville this week knows, he may not make it to Cincinnati until the next home stand.
