Plenty of options for Brown to mix in. Hopefully Robinson isn’t compromised. I think Shamet needs another good series. Townes will need to get his perimeter game going early in games, too.
I can see that but what do you do with Castle? OKC had Casson and Caruso alternate on Castle and the Twolves had McDaniels cover him. Two of the better defensive teams in the NBA put their best defender on him because he is both quick and strong and he will get to the rim a lot otherwise. Knicks could try Hart on him but Hart is not at Anunuby’s level. Bridges will be needed for Fox, who is hurt but still very good.

Hart, Shamet and McBride are all very good defenders. The only weak defender in the Knicks rotation is Brunson. Even Clarkson has risen to “average” defender in this unit, though he is barely in the rotation at this point.

I think Brown will mix and match and obviously Johnson will as well. It will be a chess match. Knicks will need everyone, including Mitch, to be ready to contribute to their fullest.

One advantage the Knicks to have is rest. I’d love to see them come out strong and take Game 1. Wemby just played 40 mins, he gets tired. I’d do all I could to take advantage of this.

My heart says the Knicks, but my brain tells me the Spurs in 6.

Knicks scored last 11 pts of the game to win. Very well played game.
Josh Hart 15 rebs, 4 steal, 0 turnovers. KAT 18 pts 12 reb. They were awesome. Shamet was very good off the bench.
For the spurs, Wemby flopped his way to 26 pts on 21 shots and Mitch battled him every step. Fox really sucked 3-13, 7 pts.
Champenie hit five open looks from 3 when the Knicks forgot to guard him and Harper did whatever he wanted in his 28 minutes.
