I think he's tried to improve himself in a season he knew was gone. Thoughts?
There are endless threads on this in the ORG. It's enough reading to fill the fall season. His oppo hitting, his psyche, virtually all aspects of Jay Bruce are discussed in detail.

I thought Finnegan had strike 3 on an 0-2 pitch but the ump disagreed, gameday agreed it touched the corner. Segura slices one to first but Votto plays it well and the runner stays at third.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I got ya, just think everyone needs to appreciate that he seems to be willing to change, when everyone is focused on the W/L record.

Strike 3 called to end the frame, just below 80 pitches.

Nice start. 5 innings, 3 hits, 2 walks, 4 strikeouts.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

    Duvall's on first, right?

Jason Kidd- third all time triple doubles (behind the Big O and Magic), second all time assists (behind Stockton), third all time steals (behind Stockton). Pretty nice job of coaching last year. Bucks will be very interesting particularly if Parker comes back 100%.

2016 might be interesting. Probably not successful, but interesting.

Some bad personal life stuff and he bailed on my Nets. Boo Jason Kidd.

Great, great player. Not popular in all parts these days. Nice job with Bucks, yes.

What are you guys talking about? Wasn't Kidd a Pirate? He hit a bunch of triples and doubles? Stockton I know; that's in the San Joaquin Valley.

Just dialed up the game. That's quite the yellow chest protector the Brewers catcher is wearing. Man.

How was Finnegan's velocity tonight, for those of you with the privilege of watching?

Balester is going to be a disaster. Why, Bryan?

Walk and a hit and all of a sudden the tying runs are on and no one out. Brilliant!

    Skippy has an error.
