What's weird is that clearly the guy didn't need it. He's clean and a top 10 NL hitter.

I feel like that's the first Reds' homer in weeks.

Wow. 3 doubles, a triple and a home run. Not bad. :O)

I can't wait to see Dickerson slump for the first time just to see how he adjusts and comes out of it.

If he comes out of it well, we may just have an answer for 2009.

You don't think HGH had anything to do with Ankiel being where he is today?

BP shows some of his famous patience there. Congrats to Dickerson.

Phillips has been flat-out painful of late.

Oh, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree then. I don't guess roids helped Bonds go from a 45 homer guy to a 73 homer guy then.

Well... I'm going with OBM, I don't really understand the slap on the wrist MLB gives players for using banned substances... It's not like they lose everything they gained from the "stuff" they had taken, that 15-20 lbs of muscle isn't going anywhere...

Pretty clearly Bonds was ON HGH when he hit 73. You don't just stay puffed up like a balloon after you go off the stuff (unless you have some kind of condition).
