No, he just can’t fall in love with one pitch

Not that I think we missed out on much with him but insult to injury in this one that Anthony Bass, closer for our Louisville Bats this season, finishes it off.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Nothing like losing to a glorified AA team on a 6-game skid.

I’m sure our local press will not ask Bell after the game why Garrett didn’t throw a fastball

Truth is,he gets bailed out sometimes. Lorenzen just can't pitch more than one inning well.

Reds lose against a team 28 under .500. I blame Iglesias' two double plays earlier, too. Why he's batting number 5 is beyond me.

This one really is depressing. The Mariners aren't trying and the Reds nominally are, but you wouldn't know it from this game.

We are now 21-31 in 1 run games. Bad managing, It doesn't seem like the team has chemistry this year.

Just really disheartening, especially with Bauer throwing so well. And you'd like that O'Grady blast to be a game-winner.

Not Lorenzen’s fault. If Garrett can’t get out one lefty hitter, I’m not sure what his role is.

I can’t blame Bell. He brought in his “best” lefty to get out a lefty. Simple, obvious move, just bad execution.

The problem with the team chemistry is that the offense and the bullpen are lousy.

I’d like to hear from manager Bell whether all those sliders were called by the pitcher the catcher or by the bench but I’m sure our local press won’t ask him

Catcher. Weird to direct the blame for Amir Garrett's failures towards Bell and then also media, for some reason.

The problem was pitch selection. Another problem are the softball interviews our media does with our manager.
