According to the weather channel app we are looking at storms on and off between now and about 10:15 so it is likely they may still get the rest of this in tonight but this will be a long delay

If they’re delayed more than 30-45 minutes that’ll be all for Castillo tonight

Cubs really need to get on their flight though so lets be nice and just call the game

I tuned in just in time for the wild pitches and Suarez knock the rest in.. Good timing for a change.. That's an oddity in my life..

I take partial credit because I rushed to put my new Reds hat (which is 4-2 since I bought it) on while Geno was hitting

Sitting in a bar watching the game with a friend who is a rabid (big giant baby) Cubs fan. He actually said this is a horrible unlucky way to lose a game...I think completely forgetting the ball hitting third base and bouncing over Geno's head.

Showing an old interview of sweet looking back on his Redleg days. Can't help what might have been hd they kept him (and supported him).

Ditto the Bengals & Forrest Gregg & the Bengals, now that I mention it.

I think an effort should be made to get Lou Piniella into the Reds Hall of Fame, preferably sooner rather than later.

No kidding, they have managers in there who never won a thing and the guy who led a title team isn't in there?

    Re: Reds vs Cubs 5-16-19

this delay gave me an opportunity to catch up to this game thread....a few takeaways so far....hating smug Baez goes without saying but Almora is the guy that rubs me the wrong way for some reason.....as much as the talking heads love Contreras the fact is that he should've moved his body and blocked both of those balls that lead to the Reds scoring but of course it looks really flashy when he throws behind the runner at first....after watching the sweet Lou piece i wonder out of all the great Cincy moments thru the years if there's more memorable one than Norm Charlton running over Scioscia?!
